Fall is upon us…

My absolute favorite season is almost here!

BYE to the suffocating thick humid air, the HEAT, kids being home, chaos of no schedules…

I am so ready for sweaters, jackets, boots, soups, all the soups, cozy fires, leaves changing colors, shorter days, walks in the park with the dogs…and painting in a new studio in a new season….with the WINDOW OPEN!!!!!

I love the changing of the seasons and what they invite. Fall is inviting me to slow down. To stay disciplined and structured. To work hard and also REST.

I am enjoying this Labor Day weekend. WE have planned nothing and are watching college football…(SKO’ Buff’s), sleeping, cooking, eating, laying around and taking our last few swims at the pool for the season.

I am working diligently in the studio on a whole new series. It is so interesting to witness what is surfacing in there. Currently, I am exploring a lot of imagery. There are images that literally come to ME! Current themes are that of LETTING GO, GREIF, WOMANHOOD, child, mother, daughter, spirit world, protection, inner child, all the parts and journey’s I have been on thus far.

Powerful stuff!

Color pallets are coming from my wardrobe, I think. I have been mixing a lot of colors too make one of a kind neutrals that ground the colors.

I have been listening to THIS playlist. It’s a fun one!
